Invitations to Christmas Events, Exhibitions, Dinners, Awards and Company Christmas Parties
Mention Christmas invitations and you would automatically think that the invitation was to a party. However, that isn’t necessarily so! December is a month when many corporate events are held and the Exhibitions industry bible, the Exhibition Bulletin, lists 138 exhibitions that are taking place in the UK in the 3 week period to 21st December 2008! Add to that a list glitzy dinners and year-end business awards ceremonies and so on and you can see that a Christmas invite could apply to many different events.
Christmas Invitations should be designed to make sure the event is well attended
The main aim of an official Christmas invitation is to get your intended guests, colleagues or customers to attend your event be it a party, an exhibition or a prestigious awards ceremony. As we have already illustrated, December is the busiest moth of the year on the social calendar so it is doubly important that your Christmas invitation hits the spot as your event might have a lot of competition. With this important fact in mind we have selected a small range of promotional products which we feel offer “something different” whilst being eminently suited to be presented as an invitation. Some products are what we call interactive products such as our Flickercard or our Starburst Cross whilst others which require manual interaction to create movement whilst others have automatic action.
Choose a Promotional Product as an invitation to suit the type of Christmas Event
Choosing the right invitation for the event is an important part of the process of generating good attendance figures. If the Christmas event is a prestigious affair then a product with a subtle or sophisticated movement such as an item from our Starburst family is a good choice. Adding extra touches to the finish such as a matt laminate with UV varnish also add to the perception of quality. A well designed A6 version of the Starburst was used for last year’s BAFTA Awards ceremony.
At the opposite end of the spectrum is our Jumpinjax, a high-action, attention-grabbing, fun product which was hugely successful as an invitation to a pantomime last Christmas. This is an excellent example of picking the right promotional product for the job!
In a similar vein, our pop up pyramid was used as an invitation to an animated film premier last December and that, too, was a great success.
Versatile Automatic Pop ups can fit the bill as Christmas Invitations
Our ever-versatile automatic pop ups can be transformed into invitations for many other types of event. A pop up cube, for example, will perform equally well as an invitation to a company Christmas party, an exhibition or a corporate business event. The same can be said of our auto extender – the Sideshooter. Both of these promotional products come complete with the element of surprise, they are both highly interactive products and they both are delivered in their own mailing package which in itself can be custom printed to look like a Christmas gift!
All Christmas Invitations are Custom Printed
The main thing to remember when deciding on a Christmas invite is to choose a product that gives off the appropriate feeling about your Christmas event. The choice of graphic design is totally in your own hands as all products are 100% custom printed. |
